Woah... This afternoon i ran in the interhouse Cross country race..6.2miles.
This Cross Country is really Cross-the-Country-side man, the view was really really good, especially when we were on top of this hill, could see the whole country side. I really would have stopped and admired the view if i had not been trying to encourage myself to keep breathing.
In singapore Cross-country is just 4.8mile run right? and from Macritchie to Macritchie, and you have to run on the sidewalks...not very "cross-country" heh.
The run was pretty good and air really fresh, theonly problem was that it was freezing and i wore only my raffles shirt and shorts..The air was cold as well, when u breath hard, esp when you're panting, your lips become numb and youy get this headache, like some blasted thing pressing on your temples.
The paths were muddy and slippery because of today's melted frost..bullocks. We could hear cows as well, though i couldnt see them..Not a good sign- there was manure on the paths, loads of dung traps... I stepped on a few. So my trainer's outside my room now haha, and because your shoes brush your legs when you run, my legs got a bit of the bonus as well...
Bullocks..Its hard to see where you step on when you are trying to stay alive la..
I only realized it when i was cooling down after the race and there is this stretching where you sit on the floor, put the soles of your feet together and bring them as close as possible to you and then bring your head close to your feet( you get my drift?)
You can more or less guess how i found out about the stuff on my shoes as i brought my head close to my shoes...
Gross ... and i cant be bothered to wash them - yet.
Damn tired, but still got some unfinished homework..
Bullocks!
